Welcome to Meow Tarot (“the Service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service at meowtarot.cc or our apps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Meow Tarot is an AI-powered companion app with a tarot theme. You can chat with AI characters, draw virtual tarot cards, and receive AI-generated interpretations and journaling-style reflections.

For entertainment purposes only. Meow Tarot is an entertainment and self-reflection product. Card readings and AI responses are generated by software and do not constitute — and must not be relied on as — medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice, nor a prediction of future events. All decisions you make remain entirely your own. If you are dealing with a serious medical, mental-health, legal, or financial matter, please consult a qualified professional.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make purchases in the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Starwishes (virtual credits) and Monthly Pass

“Starwishes” are virtual credits used to start readings inside the Service. The Monthly Pass grants a daily allowance of readings for 30 days and is a one-time purchase — it does not auto-renew.
Starwishes and the Monthly Pass are a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use features of the Service. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or resold.
Promotional credits (welcome gift, daily check-in, redeem codes) may be modified or discontinued at any time.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g. Alipay in mainland China; an international payment partner elsewhere). Your purchase may be subject to the payment provider's own terms. Prices, taxes, and your local currency are shown at checkout.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or harm others;
attempt to probe, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
use automated means to extract content or abuse promotional credits;
upload content that is illegal, infringing, or malicious.

7. AI-generated content

Responses are generated by large language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated content. You may use AI responses generated for you for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its characters, artwork, card designs, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights other than the limited right to use the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms; where required by law, refunds for unused paid items will be handled per our Refund Policy.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be submitted to the competent courts there, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
