Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Meow Tarot (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose — there is no advertising, no data selling, and no tracking beyond what the Service needs to run.
1. What we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or device identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
2. AI processing
Your chat messages and reading context are sent to third-party large-language-model providers to generate responses. These providers process the content as our data processors to deliver the reply; we do not authorize them to use your conversations to train their models. Please avoid including sensitive personal information (such as health or financial details) in chats.
3. Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in, plus local storage for preferences such as theme and language. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) payment providers, to process your purchases; (b) AI model providers, to generate responses (as above); (c) infrastructure providers that host the Service; and (d) authorities, where required by law. We never sell personal data.
5. Retention & deletion
- Account and content data are kept while your account is active.
- In-app, “Clear memory” permanently erases a tarot reader's conversation memory and reading records for that persona.
- You can request full account deletion at any time by emailing us; we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g. payment records).
6. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production data is restricted to the operator. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we follow standard practices to protect your data.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children. Purchases require you to be 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
Your data is processed on our servers and by the processors listed above, which may be located in other countries. Where required, we rely on your consent and on contractual safeguards with processors. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, CCPA, PIPL), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data — exercise them via the contact below.
